Chinese actress Yang Mi are set to hold their wedding

HONG KONG: Hong Kong actor Hawick Lau and Chinese actress Yang Mi announced Wednesday on their micro blogs that they will hold their wedding on January 8 next year.
“This is what happened. Everybody can come wish us well,” said 27-year-old Yang in a micro blog post, accompanying it with a photo of two hands with wedding rings.
“I just want to say we will continue walking down the road together. If you get tired, just lean on me and let me slowly carry you," said 39-year-old Lau in his micro blog post.
“Thank you for giving your hand to me! Thank you everyone for your well wishes!”
January 8 is a rather special day for the couple – Lau went public about their relationship that same day in 2012.
Speculation is rife that the couple wanted to marry quickly as Yang is already pregnant.
The couple has since denied these rumours, though Lau’s father, Hong Kong veteran actor Lau Dan, told Hong Kong reporters he wanted grandchildren.
“Watching other people have grandchildren, I also want a few,” said Lau Dan, before going on to heap praise on Yang.
“Yang Mi is great, refined, has good upbringing, respects her elders. I am very happy to have this daughter-in-law.”
